If you're on a Mac, you may need to "save link to disk" to download these files. They should be saved in the Presets/Scripts subfolder of your Photoshop® installation folder in order for the script menu to display them.
All scripts here are written in javascript, so they should work on both PC and Mac. Feel free to try them out and modify them. Send comments and suggestions for improvements to:
Random PhotoKit Script version 1.0, Last updated: 11/13/03
Requires PixelGenius PhotoKit to be installed. Randomly chooses PhotoKit effects to apply to an image. Try creating an action to call this script and assigning a hot key to it. Then just repeatedly press the hot key until you get a collection of effects that you like.

Happy Accidents (Interactive Version) BETA version BETA 2.2, Last updated: 11/2/03
HappyAccidents randomly applies effects to a Photoshop® image in an attempt to achieve digital serendipity. It is a work-in-progress, but feel free to download the script and try it out. I would especially like to hear from Mac users that are running it.
This version randomly applies a slight hue shift in some colors, a B&W split tone effect, a contrast adjusment, or a random PhotoKit effects (if installed). Many more random effects will be included as development continues. If you have a favorite action in Photoshop® that you would like to see randomized, email me.
This is the interactive version. Once you install the script, create an action to call it and assign a hot-key to that action. Then, with an image loaded, press the hot-key to run it. After it completes, you can press the hot-key again until you get results that you like.
Version Beta 2.2 has added some random contrast adjustments and the random "Accident Engine" has been rewritten to provide more variety.

This is the contact sheet version of HappyAccidents. This verson creates 30 numbered variations of an image in contact-sheet format and saves a text file describing what it did to each.

Version Beta 2.2 has added some random contrast adjustments and the random "Accident Engine" has been rewritten to provide more variety. A bug was also fixed that occurred when there was a mismatch between the original document and working color spaces.
